Description

This colorful, eye-catching design is taken from local artist, Sherrie York's linocut print, which was created using the centuries old relief technique. To create this detail art piece, York carved areas of a wood block, leaving uncarved areas raised to accept ink, which is then applied to the surface with a roller. Print paper is then placed over the top leaving an impression.
